We Be The Same is a short film created in 2018 by film-maker & writer Imani Leigh . The film debuted in on April 9, 2019, at the Parkway Theater in Baltimore, Maryland. Since then it has been screened at several festivals including the Windy City International Film Festival & Black Femme Supremacy Film Fest
Umoja
Umoja is a documentary by filmmaker Justin R. Brown. It’s been shown at several film festivals across the US & Canada. This vibrant poster was a refreshing project for me because of all the hidden symbolism Justin wanted to incorporate into the film’s final poster. From the custom illustration work to the hand-lettered title, the poster shows the richness of the three cultures that converge in film and the warmth & love that is shown by all parties involved.
Flint Youth Film Festival
The Flint Youth Film Festival Approached me in 2021 to rebrand their Organization. I created a contemporary & sharp logo that would help the youth in Flint, Michigan feel uplifted by the surrounding film industry. With upgraded branding & dynamic festival posters , the Flint Youth Film Festival’s reputation has only grown, and these budding young filmmakers are forming connections to the larger professional film community.
